VoipTrades Terms of Use

Welcome to VoipTrades (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the VoipTrades platform, including our website, phone-based services, and any related applications or services (collectively, the “Services”).

By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Description of Services

VoipTrades provides a voice-enabled platform that allows approved users to facilitate stock trading activity via phone-based interactions for incarcerated individuals.

The Services include:

Phone-based conversational interfaces powered by artificial intelligence
Account management tools for family members, sponsors, and administrators
Integration with third-party brokerage providers for trade execution
Call routing, logging, and verification systems

VoipTrades is not a broker-dealer, investment advisor, or financial planner.

2. Eligibility

You must:

Be at least 18 years old
Have legal authority to manage the associated financial account
Provide accurate and complete registration information

Inmates do not directly enter into these Terms. The account holder (family member, sponsor, or authorized user) is responsible for all activity associated with the account.

3. Account Responsibility

You are responsible for:

Maintaining the security of your account
Managing access permissions for any associated inmate
Ensuring all information provided is accurate and up to date

You agree that:

All activity conducted through the associated inmate phone interaction is authorized by you
You are financially responsible for all trades executed through your account
4. Nature of the Service (Important Disclaimer)

VoipTrades provides:

A communication interface
Trade intent interpretation
Routing to brokerage partners

VoipTrades does NOT:

Provide investment advice
Recommend securities
Guarantee trade execution or performance

All trades are executed by third-party brokerage providers.

5. Trade Authorization and Confirmation

All trades require:

Clear verbal confirmation from the caller
Backend validation and approval

VoipTrades may:

Reject or delay trades
Require additional verification
Route trades for human review

You acknowledge that:

Voice-based systems may misinterpret speech
Market conditions may change before execution
Orders are not guaranteed to execute at expected prices
6. Risks of Use

You acknowledge and accept risks including:

Market volatility and financial loss
Errors in speech recognition or interpretation
Communication interruptions
Delays in trade execution
Technical failures

You agree that all trading activity is at your own risk.

7. Limitations and Safeguards

To reduce risk, VoipTrades may impose:

Trade size limits
Restrictions on certain securities
Market-hours-only trading
Account-level controls
Human review for certain transactions

These safeguards may change at any time.

8. Voice Data and Call Recording

By using the Services, you consent to:

Recording of phone calls
Transcription and analysis of conversations
Storage of audio and text for:
Security
Compliance
Dispute resolution
System improvement

You acknowledge that:

Calls may be monitored
Recordings may be shared with authorized partners when required
9. Biometric Data (Voice Verification)

If enabled, VoipTrades may use voice-based verification.

By using the Services, you acknowledge:

Voice characteristics may be used for identity verification
Biometric data will be handled according to applicable laws
You may be required to provide consent for biometric processing

Voice verification is not the sole method of authentication.

10. Third-Party Services

VoipTrades relies on third parties, including:

Brokerage firms
Telecommunication providers (e.g., Telnyx)
AI service providers (e.g., OpenAI)

We are not responsible for:

Failures or delays caused by third parties
Brokerage execution errors
Service outages beyond our control
11. Correctional Facility Limitations

Use of the Services is subject to:

Facility rules and restrictions
Approved call lists
Monitoring requirements

VoipTrades does not guarantee availability in all facilities.

12. Fees and Charges

You agree to pay:

Any applicable platform fees
Telecommunication costs
Brokerage-related fees

Fees may change at any time with notice.

13. Prohibited Use

You may not:

Use the Services for unlawful purposes
Attempt to bypass security controls
Impersonate another individual
Use the system to manipulate markets
Interfere with system integrity
14. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if:

We detect suspicious activity
You violate these Terms
Required by law or regulatory obligations
15. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

VoipTrades shall not be liable for:

Financial losses from trading activity
Errors in AI interpretation
Missed or delayed trades
Service interruptions

Your sole remedy is to stop using the Services.

16. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless VoipTrades from any claims arising from:

Your use of the Services
Trading activity conducted through your account
Violations of these Terms
17. No Warranty

The Services are provided “as is” and “as available.”

Accuracy
Reliability
Availability
Fitness for a particular purpose
